Coding Quality Review Educator – Remote (Inpatient Audit Focus)

Location : Oklahoma City, OK (Remote – Candidates must reside in OK, KS, MO, TX, or AR) - Need proof to show address

Duration : 13 weeks

Pay rate : $40 - $45/hr.

Schedule

• Full-time | 40 hours/week | 5 days/week
• Training: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
• Independent production: Between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST

Certifications

• One or more of the following credentials is required :
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC

Education & Experience

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HIM/HIT.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience.
• Minimum 3 years of coding auditing/monitoring or training experience.
• Experience in academic medical centers or trauma centers strongly preferred.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, MS-DRGs, APR-DRGs, APCs, and POA assignment .
