Join them as a Quality Assurance Specialist

Shifts: Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm (2nd shift) and 11pm-7am (3rd shift)

Pay range: $18-23/hr.

Shift differential - $1.00 for 2nd shift, $1.50 for 3rd shift

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing timely feedback to supervisors. This includes monitoring production for defects and verifying sample accuracy.

A qualified Quality Assurance Technician will be able to the perform the following tasks:

• Conduct hourly rounds to presses, stitchers and binders.
• Inspect products for defects in accordance with company standards.
• Document findings on Quality Audit Forms and provide “Approval to Bind” when applicable.
• Maintain Job Bag Library including adding, organizing and purging according to company retention policy.
• Monitor and verify the quality and quantity of customer samples during production.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Maintain consistent, prompt, and reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of press and bindery preferred.
• Experience in quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment required
• Detail-oriented and quality-minded, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
• Ability to understand job tickets and job layouts is a plus.
• Proficient in reading and using a standard ruler for measurements.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of bending, stooping, and performing other physical tasks as required.
• Demonstrates assertiveness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
