Job Description

Revology Cars is hiring a dedicated Materials Planner at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build 1960s Ford Mustang and Shelby GT new reproduction rolling chassis and restored original automobiles.

ABOUT THE JOB

A Materials Planner for Revology Cars focuses on ensuring raw materials and components are readily available to keep the flow of production running smoothly, creates and plans inventory schedules, and manages relationships with suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that raw materials and components are always readily available for production.
• Creates and maintains an inventory schedule using build plan, customer demands and trends to make sure there are always enough products and manufacturing materials.
• Manages relationships with suppliers, may be responsible for finding alternate sources when needed.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling and expediting materials from vendors.
• Monitor and optimize material inventory levels.
• Participate in engineering change teams.
• Monitor and optimize vendor deliveries.
• Follow up on the compliance to the production schedules.
• Update the ERP system.
• Coordinate all on-site cycle counts.
• Actively participate in Purchased Material Cost Reduction Program for both Raw Materials and Purchased Parts.
• Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in production/operations management, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Two+ years of sourcing experience, preferably in direct materials procurement.
• Two+ years of experience in the Automotive industry.
• Prior experience with ERP systems.
• Understand material handling strategies (JIT) and visual tools for replenishment of materials (KANBAN).An interest in automobiles and a detailed understanding of the various parts of an automobile are preferred.
• Must be able to solve problems and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at any level in an organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• English proficiency is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range is $56,700 to $94,200
• Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
• 401(k) with up to 4% company match.
• Three weeks of paid vacation and one week of sick leave.
