Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Schedule/Shift: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Cedar Park Med is hiring a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver high-quality psychiatric and medical care in a structured behavioral health setting. This role is ideal for an NP experienced in mental health who is confident working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview:
As an NP, you will provide direct clinical services including evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric and medical evaluations and document findings

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Prescribe and monitor medications and therapeutic interventions

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and case managers

  • Provide crisis support and clinical leadership when needed

  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with policies and standards

Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment

  • Board Certification in Psychiatry or Family Medicine preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting

  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority

  • Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills
