Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Schedule/Shift: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Cedar Park Med is hiring a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver high-quality psychiatric and medical care in a structured behavioral health setting. This role is ideal for an NP experienced in mental health who is confident working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
Position Overview:
As an NP, you will provide direct clinical services including evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric and medical evaluations and document findings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and monitor medications and therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and case managers
Provide crisis support and clinical leadership when needed
Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with policies and standards
Requirements:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment
Board Certification in Psychiatry or Family Medicine preferred
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting
DEA registration and prescriptive authority
Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills
