Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Investment Associate to oversee a diverse portfolio of investments and drive strategic growth within our organization. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial analysis and real estate, eager to lead key transactions and foster team development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of investment portfolios, from acquisition through to completion, ensuring optimal returns.
  • Lead the due diligence process to streamline acquisition and financing closings with efficiency and precision.
  • Guide and mentor a team of associates and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing group.
  • Spearhead business negotiations for critical milestones, including acquisitions, joint ventures, loan agreements, and branding deals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, loan officers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and reports during monthly meetings to update leadership and partners.
  • Develop investment summaries and offering memorandums for internal executives and external financial collaborators.
  • Track project budgets and timelines throughout the development phase to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to manage loan draws and capital calls on a monthly basis.
  • Participate actively in weekly development meetings to align strategies and progress.
  • Build and refine financial models, coordinating with accounting, development, sales, and leasing departments.
  • Partner with leasing teams for commercial properties and sales teams for condominium projects.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of project performance and future projections to inform decision-making.
  • Regularly monitor market valuations of existing assets and propose strategies to maximize their value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling, with a focus on development or real estate private equity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling tools.
